Design x 3D Printing: Custom Organization (Level 2, 18+)

An in-person work session focused on designing and modeling a custom organizational solution. Bring your dimensions; we'll provide the mentorship. Print your project at home or use our printing services.

Prerequisite: Design x 3D Printing: Introduction (Level 1, 18+)

What makes STEMBox different from other after school programs?

STEMBox is a PhD-led innovation hub that focuses on mentorship and authentic learning. Whether they are building a robot for a world championship or 3D printing their first design, our goal is to give them the tools and the environment to feel truly capable. We use hands-on engineering to help kids find their own 'aha' moments, building the kind of real-world confidence and problem-solving skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives.

Do I need prior experience to join class?

Not at all. Our Level 1 courses are designed to build the basics from the ground up. We provide a gentle but rigorous introduction so that students leave every single class with new, tangible skills. We also provide all the technology—including laptops—so you don't need to bring a thing. For our more advanced programs, we’ll always clearly list any prerequisites so you know exactly which path is right for your or your child.

Do I need to buy my own 3D printer or robot to participate?

Not at all. All materials and technology are provided for the classes and 3D printing services are available for students who want to print their custom designs created during our CAD workshops.
